Lead Maintenance Electrical Engineer will join a larger team of multi‑skilled engineers working on a well‑known premium insurance in Manchester. He/she will manage a small team of 3 engineers, carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, small installation projects, servicing, and repairs, and will also support the larger team with general building maintenance.
Responsibilities
* Manage a team of 3 engineers.
* Plan and execute planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
* Perform small installation projects, servicing, and repairs.
* Support general building maintenance across sites.
* Allocate 50% of time to tools and 50% to workload management and planning.
* Plan own workload efficiently.
* Work client‑facing as a Static Electrician, interacting with the public on a daily basis.
Qualifications
* Electrical Installation Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.
* JIB Card, HVAP, LVAP, or 2391 certification (advantageous).
* Knowledge of health and safety.
* Experience working in client‑facing environments (static electrician role).
