Infrastructure Design Engineer

Engagement Details
* Contract: 6 month
* Location: Fully remote
* Rate: Up to £520 per day
* Security: SC Cleared role
Key Skills
* Strong background in Wintel Infrastructure
* AD, Exchange, GPO, DNS/DHCP
* Automation
Required Skills
* Proven experience in developing scalable and efficient system architectures
* Strong automation skills for deployment, configuration, and management of applications
* Proficiency in monitoring system performance and proactively resolving issues
* Deep understanding of security standards and regulatory compliance
* Excellent collaboration skills, working closely with development, QA, and operations teams
* Technical expertise in Kubernetes, containers, and Azure cloud platform
* Active SC clearance (MOD SC clearance preferred) and sole UK nationality
Nice to Have Skills
* Experience with additional cloud platforms or infrastructure tools
* Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Education and Experience
* Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* Demonstrated experience in infrastructure design and deployment, ideally 3+ years in a similar role
Other Requirements
* Must hold active SC clearance and be a sole UK national
* Ability to work remotely and independently
* Willingness to undergo additional vetting processes, which may extend onboarding time
