Being a not-for-profit means we reinvest every penny into our residents, colleagues, and care homes. We offer a range of benefits, including a competitive salary, training, and development.
Additional benefits include:
* 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
* Free uniform
* Free DBS
* Higher rates of pay at weekends
* Access to our Employee Assistance Programme
* Refer a Friend scheme rewarding you up to £ for every successful recommendation
* Care Worker Charity membership for well-being and financial aid
* Blue Light card and “My Rewards” programme, offering discounts on shopping, days out, restaurants, and more
ABOUT YOU
You’ll have strong experience as a carer in a care setting, with the ability to relate to residents in a caring and sensitive manner. Previous supervisory experience, such as delegating tasks, supporting inductions for new starters, and conducting 1-to-1s, is a plus but not essential.
What’s important is that you are a positive role model with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to get along with others. You should be supportive, able to motivate others to deliver the best care, confident in taking charge, and capable of using your initiative to resolve problems and handle queries.
