What you’ll be doing:
* Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store, prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse, and replenishing shelves.
* Running a full store operation on your own overnight, responsible for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
* Ensuring standards are maintained to be ready for customers in the morning.
* Managing people, including performance, capability, disciplinaries, scheduling, and pay.
Our nightshift managers work full-time over 4 nights with a £4,500 premium (shifts from 22:00 to 08:00).
What makes a great nightshift manager:
* Comfortable with nightshift work, adaptable to its physical and mental impacts, and committed to a safe, healthy environment.
* Previous line management experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
* Resilient to the demands of night work.
* Excellent customer service skills and team coaching ability.
* Experience with KPI monitoring and performance indicators.
* Ability to manage disciplinary, performance, and employee relations issues.
* Leadership skills, capable of managing operations independently.
* Committed to inclusivity.
Essential Criteria:
* Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and coaching teams.
* Experience leading a team in a busy, customer-facing environment.
* Operational leadership experience, especially in managing store functions alone.
* Success in meeting or exceeding KPIs.
* Experience handling employee relations issues.
* Desirable: Experience working night shifts in high-volume operations, with an emphasis on safety and support during out-of-hours trading.
