As a Packaging Technologist in the No7 Beauty Company, you will work in a busy and fast-moving cross-functional team based in Nottingham. You will use your technical knowledge, creativity, and organizational skills to deliver new and innovative packaging solutions for our award-winning brands.

About the role
This role reports to the Packaging Manager and is based in the Product Development Department. You will join a community of approximately 20 Packaging experts and be part of a supportive team.
The key responsibilities include:
1. Delivering packaging and artwork activities for our key brands—No7, Soap & Glory, Liz Earle, and Botanics.
2. Managing packaging design to optimize cost, quality, and technical feasibility while ensuring attractive packaging.
3. Conducting technical testing to ensure packaging durability during manufacture, distribution, and consumer use.
4. Developing sustainable packaging solutions.
5. Performing due diligence to identify and manage packaging technical risks.
6. Prioritizing multiple projects effectively with strong organizational skills.
7. Communicating clearly and effectively.
8. Creating accurate manufacturing and specification documentation.
What you’ll need to have
While experience is preferred, we are open to candidates willing to learn and be trained for the role.
Ideal backgrounds include Packaging Design, Product Design, or Print.
1. Proven experience in developing packaging from concept to market.
2. Excellent knowledge of packaging technologies, manufacturing, print processes, and artwork.
3. Ability to manage risks, priorities, and timelines for complex projects.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
