Our Maintenance Operative play a critical function, ensuring the smooth running of operational building facilities. This is a customer-facing environment where you will be responsible for maintaining Vita Student’s highest building standards. Our Maintenance Operatives Respond to maintenance requests, promptly addressing student and staff reports of issues with plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, lighting, furniture, and other equipment. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Conduct regular inspections of residence facilities to identify potential issues and performing scheduled maintenance tasks General repairs, such as fixing minor issues like leaky plumbing, broken fixtures, damaged doors, and wall repairs. Performing minor tasks like replacing flooring, repairing furniture, and touch-up painting & decorating. Ground works, maintaining the upkeep of outdoor areas such as grass-cutting & hedge-trimming/shaping. Safety compliance. Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures when performing maintenance tasks. Who we want to join our team Professional Experience Experienced delivering preventive and corrective fire alarm and firefighting system maintenance Skilled across a variety of maintenance functions Well-versed in delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within a similar environment. Demonstrable understanding and adherence of safety compliance regulations and procedures.
