Hickory’s Smokehouse is one of the fastest-growing restaurant and BBQ brands in the UK, specialising in authentic American-style BBQ. We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our busy, high-energy kitchen team.
This is a hands-on kitchen role where you’ll support the chefs, keep the kitchen running smoothly and develop real hospitality skills — with clear progression and industry-leading training.

1. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
2. Washing dishes, utensils, cookware and equipment
3. Ensuring high hygiene and safety standards are consistently met
4. Thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
5. Working as part of a supportive, passionate kitchen team
6. Developing your skills with training and progression opportunities

About You:
16. Experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar high-volume kitchen environment (preferred but not essential)
17. Strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness
18. Positive attitude and strong team ethic
19. Looking for stability, progression and a great work–life balance
