Supply Hive are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist school on a temporary basis. The role involves delivering engaging, person-centred lessons across key stages, adapting teaching to meet a range of learning and communication needs. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants, therapists, and specialist staff to ensure every pupil can achieve their full potential. The specialist school supports pupils aged 2–16 with a broad range of additional needs including severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, and complex learning needs. The school’s sites are co-located with mainstream partner schools, creating opportunities for inclusion alongside a strong focus on specialist provision. The curriculum is creative, flexible, and tailored to each pupil’s individual strengths and pace of learning. Staff work closely with families, therapists, and outside professionals to ensure every child develops academically, socially, and emotionally within a nurturing environment. You’ll need to: Have experience supporting children with complex needs such as PMLD, SLD or ASD or a willingness to learn. Be creative and flexible in your approach to teaching and behaviour support. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues and families. Hold relevant teaching qualifications (QTS) and have the Right to Work in the UK.
