What you need: Prior experience in care, support work or similar. Familiarity with SEND needs and support. Ability to motivate and engage pupils through personalised strategies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong resilience and adaptability in handling challenging behaviours. What you will be doing: Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with a wide range of learning disabilities, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex needs. Work closely with teaching staff to deliver adapted lessons and creative learning activities that meet individual needs. Assist with developing communication, social interaction, and life skills using approaches such as PECS, Makaton, and sensory play.
