Responsibilities
* Work as an enthusiastic, effective member of an early years team, supporting, leading and motivating staff to nurture children and create stimulating learning opportunities that deliver a high quality, child-centred early years provision which meets the needs of our youngest children and their families.
* Lead and develop the service in partnership with others, including supporting and developing team practice and improving standards within the setting.
* Act as a role model for good practice in early years education and contribute to continuous professional development within the team.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Significant experience of working within an early years environment and commitment to ongoing professional development.
* SVQ3 level 3 Childcare & Education, OR SVQ Level 3 Children's Care in Education and Learning, OR HNC Childcare in Education, OR NNEB.
* Must meet the registration requirements of a Practitioner with SSSC and be currently registered.
* PVG disclosure or update as required; may be required to join PVG Scheme prior to offer of employment.
Other details
* Hours: 14.8 hours per week, term time. Work pattern: Thursday and Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm.
* Salary: £19.96 – £20.53 per hour.
* Contract: Permanent Post.
