Store Manager - Liverpool

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Store Manager to lead our team in our newly refurbished store in Liverpool. As a Store Manager you will be accountable for meeting and exceeding retail sales targets and be responsible for the development of fully trained, informative and highly motivated Travel Experts who deliver exceptional service and revenue. You will also be fully responsible for the store's business development in aim to increase and nurture the already established customer database.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support Personal Travel Experts to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
* Be responsible for the store's business development and nurturing the existing customer database.
* Ensure accuracy in booking checks and pricing so every element of a customer’s holiday is correct and free from errors that could impact the customer overseas.
* Motivate, enthuse and lead a team; create an upbeat, high-energy sales environment, even under pressure and high volumes.
* Provide clear communication and act as a proactive, forward-thinking leader with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Manage a retail travel store with profit and staff responsibilities and a strong track record of delivering sales results and exceptional service.
* Maintain active involvement during weekends as the store operates six days a week (open Monday to Saturday, 10am – 6pm).
Qualifications & Personal Qualities
* Essential: Experience of managing a retail travel store with profit and staff responsibility.
* Strong track record of delivering sales results and exceptional service.
* Attention to detail in booking checks and pricing to ensure accuracy.
* Proactive, confident, forward-thinking with excellent communication skills.
* Proven ability to motivate, enthuse and lead a team; thrives under pressure and high workload.
* Genuine passion for travel with considerable first-hand experience and knowledge of Kuoni destinations.
* Knowledge and experience dealing with third party suppliers.
* Fully flexible: store open 6 days a week; this position is full-time, 5 days including weekends.
* The Store is open Monday to Saturday 10am - 6pm.
* Desirable: Good understanding of sales and commercial aspects of tour operating, including scheduled flights; working knowledge of at least one travel agent or tour operator reservations system.
* Personal: Commercial judgement; track record of meeting tough sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service; customer-centric mindset; strong interpersonal skills; adaptable and resourceful.
