Full-time | Temporary | Immediate Start
I am working with a school in Nottingham that is seeking a proactive and reliable Science Technician on a temporary, full‑time basis.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
* Supporting the delivery of science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics Preparing, setting up and safely maintaining laboratory equipment and materials
* Ensuring all experiments follow health & safety procedures
* Organising and storing chemicals and apparatus securely
* Assisting teachers during practical sessions where required
* Maintaining a clean, safe and well‑organised lab environment
* Managing stock levels and ordering resources when needed
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
* Previous school-based or lab technician experience
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Strong organisation skills and the ability to work safely at all times
* Good literacy, numeracy and basic IT skills
* A calm, dependable approach and the ability to multitask confidently
* A solid understanding of lab safety procedures
