Final Mile Manager – Evri Premium

At Evri Premium, we’re looking for a driven and results-focused Final Mile Manager to lead our depot operation and deliver outstanding service to our customers.
This is a key leadership role where you’ll take full ownership of final mile performance—managing teams, engaging couriers, and ensuring every parcel completes its journey efficiently and on time.
About the Role
As Final Mile Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery performance of the depot, ensuring operational excellence, cost control, and a first-class customer experience.
You’ll lead both employed teams and self-employed courier networks, driving engagement, performance, and continuous improvement across a fast-paced 6-day operation.
Key Responsibilities
Depot Performance & Leadership
1. Take full accountability for depot performance, KPIs, and customer satisfaction
2. Lead, coach, and develop operational teams and delivery drivers
3. Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
Financial Management
4. Manage and forecast depot budgets effectively
5. Control costs across courier payments, contractors, ad-hoc spend, and team expenses
6. Ensure profitability while maintaining high service standards
Courier Network Management
7. Recruit, onboard, and retain a strong network of self-employed couriers
8. Drive engagement and support change initiatives across the courier workforce
Resource Planning
9. Work collaboratively with Resource Planners to ensure optimal delivery coverage
10. Balance demand and capacity to maintain a stable, efficient operation
Performance Management
11. Monitor and drive performance of couriers and teams across the operation
12. Implement improvements to meet service, productivity, and delivery targets
Stakeholder Collaboration
13. Build strong relationships with Depot Leadership and key internal teams
14. Ensure alignment across departments to deliver a seamless parcel journey
Customer Experience
15. Take ownership of escalated customer issues and complaints
16. Work closely with Customer Services to ensure quick and effective resolution
17. Use customer feedback to drive service improvements
What We’re Looking For
18. Proven experience in a final mile, logistics, or parcel delivery environment
19. Strong leadership experience managing teams and self-employed courier networks
20. Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and costs
21. Ability to drive operational performance in a fast-paced environment
22. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
23. A proactive, results-driven mindset with a focus on service excellence
