About the Role
1. Deliver personalised support to students across KS3 and KS4, including one-to-one and small group sessions
2. Collaborate with class teachers to assist in lesson planning and delivery of engaging learning activities
3. Support students with diverse needs, including those with SEND
4. Assist in maintaining positive behaviour management following the school’s guidelines
5. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Candidate Requirements
6. Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant within a secondary school environment is essential
7. Solid knowledge of the UK national curriculum
8. Ability to develop positive relationships with both students and colleagues
9. Patient, dependable, and adaptable to the dynamic school environment
10. Enhanced DBS certification on the update service or willingness to apply
Experienced Cover Supervisor Requirements
11. Demonstrable experience working as a Teaching Assistant
12. Strong skills in classroom management and rapport-building with students
13. Valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or readiness to obtain one
14. Eligibility to work in the UK
15. A genuine passion for education and a flexible, proactive mindset
