Education/qualifications

2. •IT qualification, e.g. NSCL computer driving licence or equivalent •An HNC/SVQIII in Secretarial Studies/Business Administration or equivalent experience course

3. •To have a good knowledge of national cancer waiting time targets •Minimum of 3 years’ experience of complex and changing environment (health sector preferable) •Excellent knowledge and experience of computer packages, including work, excel, access, and PowerPoint, are also required, especially confident in using email and the internet. •Database experience. •Knowledge of hospital clinical and administrative procedures and practices, both routine and non-routine. •Knowledge and experience of service improvement tools and techniques •Evidence of report writing and presenting skills

4. •Skilled in the use of Hospital Systems (HIS, RIS & ORSOS, Somerset cancer registry) •Experience communicating with patients •Experience in PPI
