Your new role
Thispany is looking for Ecologists at varying stages of their career, you will be working on a large range of exciting projects, with the ability to work on all aspects from conception topletion. Main duties will vary depending on level but could include…
1. Protected species surveys and Habitat Surveys (Bats, GCN, reptiles, badgers, otters, crayfish, birds and dormice)
2. Ecological Impact Assessments
3. Habitat Regulations Assessments
4. Preliminary Ecological Appraisals
5. Biodiversity Impact Assessments
6. Environmental/Habitat Management Plans
7. Provide mitigation through consultancy
8. Habitat Creation, Restoration & Translocation
9. Report writing
10. Client liaising
What you'll need to succeed
11. A degree in an Environmental, Ecology or relevant field
12. Experience in a consultancy setting
13. Field / site-based experience
14. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills
15. Knowledge of relevant UK legislation
16. A holder of a protected species licence (or working towards)
17. Associate or Full membership in CIEEM (or working towards)
18. Full UK Driving Licence.
