One of our brilliant mainstream primary schools in Lewisham is searching for a superstar SEN Teaching Assistant. You’ll be supporting a pupil with additional needs - helping them feel confident, calm, and ready to learn in a busy classroom setting.
It’s all about connection, consistency, and that special knack you’ve got for making a tough day feel a little easier.
What you’ll be doing:
1. One-to-one support for a child with SEND (could be autism, SEMH, ADHD, or communication needs)
2. Supporting with learning, play, and social interaction
3. Helping the classroom run smoothly by being that extra pair of steady hands
4. Building a great relationship with the pupil, teacher, and parents
You’ll fit right in if you:
5. Have experience supporting children with additional needs
6. Stay calm under pressure and bring a positive attitude to every challenge
