We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly independent primary school in NW10, Brent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in their education.
The Role
Provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with SEN and mild autism.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies.
Support the childs learning, communication, and social development both inside and outside the classroom.
Encourage independence while offering emotional and academic support.
Adapt activities and resources to meet the pupils individual needs.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience supporting children with SEN, particularly autism, is highly desirable.
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable in your approach.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
Enthusiastic and committed to helping children achieve their best.
