Your new roleAs Head of Procurement, you will lead and develop a team of Category and Sourcing Managers, setting priorities, performance expectations and annual objectives. You will oversee the delivery of strategic procurement activities across aplex portfolio, ensuring category strategies, sourcing decisions and supplier relationships align with organisational goals. This is a strategic role suited to amercial leader who thrives in a busy, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing, implementing and maintainingplex category strategies
2. Securingernance approvals and ensuring assurance requirements are met
3. Leading supplier relationship management and contract management
4. Driving efficiency, sustainability, value for money and continuous improvement
5. Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation
6. Providing expertmercial advice to procurement teams and wider departments
What you’ll need to succeed
7. Extensive experience developing and delivering category management strategies
8. Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high‑performing procurement teams
9. Strong influencing and stakeholder‑engagement skills at all levels
10. Experience managing a varied,plex procurement portfolio
11. Excellent coordination, organisation and prioritisation skills
12. A collaborative leadership style andmitment to continuous improvement
