Job Description:
An Office Manager / Personal Assistant is needed to join a multi award-winning creative design and manufacturing company based in Newhaven. You will support the Managing Director by handling administrative responsibilities, managing emails and calendars, facilitating project flow, conducting research, creating presentations, updating project software, overseeing paperwork, sourcing materials, and maintaining supplier relationships.
The role requires you to be adaptable, proactive, and willing to learn on the job, observing operations and making improvements as needed. You should be prepared to work diligently, adapt quickly, and work well within a team.
Qualifications include:
* Experience in a similar Office Manager / Personal Assistant role.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Proactive and self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt.
* Creative problem-solving approach.
* Effective negotiation skills with clients and suppliers.
* Some knowledge of creative processes for prop manufacture.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
* Own transport and flexibility with working hours are required.
