The school has a strong reputation as a Specialist Science Academy, so appointing the right Science Teacher for this position is very important.
All staff have a mentor in their first term and are given regular opportunities for continuing professional development throughout their time at the school. Previous experience with special needs children would be beneficial but not essential, as consideration will be given to applicants who can demonstrate a genuine interest in working with our very special pupils. Newly qualified teachers will also be considered.
