Requirements for the Senior Healthcare Assistant (Residential Care):
Have a Level 2 Health & Social Care, Level 3 is desirable
Have previous care experience

The home provides homely accommodation, located in scenic surroundings. Featuring 42 rooms, the home offers stimulating themed areas and signposting, reminiscent of its own little community.
The team consists of several dementia champions who have the experience and knowledge to create a stimulating and safe home for any resident who have dementia.

Duties and Responsibilities of a Senior Healthcare Assistant (Residential Care):
Acting as a positive role model; provide effective supervision and guidance for the team; contribute towards their performance and professional development
Communicating any concerns to senior management
Ensuring the implementation of individual care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed
Providing practical support and responsive care to residents who require assistance with personal care needs
Observing and monitoring the wellbeing of residents, ensuring that any changes are referred and documented
Monitoring and allocating work for HCAs
Developing and maintaining a good professional relationship with residents, colleagues and visitors
Undertake administration of medication training and administer medication to residents
