This is a hands-on role requiring daily presence in the bakery and in the warehouse areas to oversee technical, and compliance activities and be actively involved in daily decision making. The role is critical to maintaining the company’s reputation for high-quality, safe, and consistent products. Core accountabilities as Quality & Technical Manager: Quality Management System Review, update and maintain the company manual ensuring it is fit for purpose and reflects the company aim to be working towards and then at a BRC or equivalent quality system. Ensure that all procedures and policies within the manual are fully understood by and trained out to all relevant staff. HACCP Develop and lead the HACCP team ensuring that it meets on a regular basis and delivers positive improvements. Regularly review and update the current HACCP ensuring it is fully fit for purpose and reflects the company aim to be working towards and then at a BRC or equivalent quality system. Micro Testing Organising relevant product testing schedules to establish and validate shelf life for current products, NPD and EPD.
