DPS is seeking to recruit a skilled Electrician, ideally with experience in Water/Wastewater or Field Service environments, to join our growing Service Division. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Electrical Engineer/Electrician to develop within a fastpaced, innovative and customerfocused organisation.
The successful candidate will lead electrical activities across the Service & Repair division and will work on a range of municipal, industrial and wastewater treatment sites. The position involves electrical installation, servicing, and pump/control system work across a wide portfolio of clients in Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Report to the Service Manager and provide regular updates on work progress.
* Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and servicing on pumps, control systems and specialist water/wastewater equipment.
* Work with a broad range of mechanical and electrical equipment and materials.
* Collaborate with management and service coordinators to ensure efficient preparation and delivery of site work.
* Complete all job-related documentation accurately and on time.
* Support the DPS trainee programme and help develop junior engineers and apprentices to a high standard.
* Deliver all onsite work to a professional standard and in line with client expectations.
* Engage with customers and supply chain partners in a professional and courteous manner.
* Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and assist with planning service delivery.
* Maintain strong communication and provide high levels of customer service at all times.
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company HSQE policies, procedures, and relevant sitespecific risk assessments and method statements.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
* Perform any other reasonable duties as requested to support the business.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Qualified Electrician (essential).
* Previous experience in Water/Wastewater or Field Service environments (desirable).
* ICA (Instrumentation, Control & Automation) experience (highly desirable).
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Positive approach to supporting and training junior employees/apprentices.
* Excellent organisation, communication, and timemanagement skills.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
* Full clean UK driving licence.
