Live in Carer – Ottery St Mary
Nurse Seekers are currently looking for a dedicated and caring Live-in Carer to support a client close to Ottery St Mary, Devon. If you're empathetic, reliable, and want to make a genuine difference in someone's life, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Live-in Carer, you’ll reside in the client’s home and provide one-on-one support tailored to their individual care plan. Your daily tasks may include:
* Personal Care
* Medication Support
* Meal Preparation and Household Tasks
* Companionship and Emotional Support
* Mobility Assistance and Enabling Activities
* Working closely with families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
What We’re Looking For
* A kind, patient and respectful attitude
* Previous care experience
* Excellent communication in English (spoken and written)
* Must have the right to work in the UK
* A flexible and proactive approach to care
* Willingness to undergo training and ongoing development
* Ability to commit to a live-in rota
Desirable Skills/Experience
* Dementia or Alzheimer’s care experience
* Manual handling and mobility support
* Medication administration
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
