Overview
Our superb client based in Sawston, a rapidly growing organisation, is seeking a Bookkeeper to join on a full‑time permanent basis (37.5 hours). A 30‑hour per week option is also considered. The role is initially office‑based during training and induction, after which it can shift to a hybrid model. Training will be undertaken in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire, so own transport is essential as you will travel on working days for a period of 4‑6 weeks.
Responsibilities
As a Bookkeeper you will perform bookkeeping duties for a range of clients: VAT returns, bank reconciliations, processing of purchase ledger invoices, sales ledger invoice generation, and dealing with queries by telephone, email, and face‑to‑face with clients.
Qualifications
To be considered you will have previous or current bookkeeping experience, desire to join a growing group, and ideally experience using Sage & Xero along with looking after a portfolio of clients.
