Job Description:
Lovely returning clients are seeking a full-time nanny to work in Barnes with their three children: a 10-month-old girl, a 4.5-year-old girl, and a 7-year-old boy. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, starting in May 2025.
Additional babysitting hours will be agreed upon on an ad-hoc basis. Responsibilities include:
1. Looking after the 10-month-old daughter, ensuring she is cared for, stimulated, and engaged both at home and in external classes/activities.
2. Collecting the older children from school (driving is essential), assisting with homework, and taking them to after-school activities.
3. Preparing healthy meals and snacks, managing weekly grocery shopping.
4. Managing bath and bedtime routines, reading stories.
5. During school holidays, caring for all children, organizing activities, outings, and playdates.
6. Nursery duties and light housekeeping related to the children, such as tidying play areas, children's laundry, and loading/unloading the dishwasher.
The salary is £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.
Applicants must have recent experience with babies of this age as a sole charge nanny in a private household, with excellent references. Experience with larger families with three or more children is preferred. Candidates must have an up-to-date enhanced DBS check (less than a year old), current first aid certification, and the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not provided.
