Project Manager
Location: Mostly Remote – Monthly travel to Peterborough or London
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000
Type: Full-time, 3-Year Fixed-Term Contract
VIQU is proud to be working with a well-regarded education trust to recruit a Microsoft 365 Migrations Project Manager to lead a major Microsoft 365 digital transformation programme. This high-impact role involves managing a multi-year migration plan and working closely with a secured Microsoft partner to deliver large-scale infrastructure change across the trust.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive the end-to-end delivery of a trust-wide digital transformation initiative.
* Oversee and manage the day-to-day relationship with an external Microsoft partner delivering the technical aspects of the migration.
* Report directly to the Deputy Director of Transformation and engage with IT, HR, and school stakeholders.
* Work alongside internal IT project managers and engineers to ensure successful execution.
* Maintain and manage RAID logs to track project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
* Ensure strong data governance throughout the transformation.
* Support the development and execution of a detailed, multi-year migration roadmap.
Key Experience:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in infrastructure project management, including Office 365 and Exchange Online migrations.
* Proficient with Microsoft 365 suite: Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and security/compliance tools.
* Solid understanding of PM methodologies such as ITIL Foundation, CMM, or PMI.
* Experience with change management and cybersecurity practices.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
Desirable Skills:
* Leadership and stakeholder management experience.
* Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills.
* Prior experience within the education sector is a strong advantage.
* Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, MS-100, MS-202).
