Key Account and Specification Support
Our Tamworth based client is looking for a Key Account and Specification Support to join their team.
Your role will be to act as the first point of contact for a dedicated sales team, providing comprehensive support including quote preparation, scheduling and tracking project orders through to completion, and reporting on active projects. Liaise with internal departments such as customer service, administration, supply chain, procurement, and stock management teams to coordinate stock fulfilment for all project-related orders across the organisation.
As a Key Account and Specification Support, you will need to have/be:
Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency when recording data, preparing quotations, and managing schedules
Proactively identify and address upcoming tasks, working effectively to meet tight deadlines
Confidently follow up on required information across multiple internal departments
Display strong interpersonal skills, remaining approachable and professional at all times
Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, keeping all relevant stakeholders informed of project order progress
Demonstrate a positive, solutions-focused mindset, always willing to take initiative
Work independently with motivation and accountability

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

Duration: PermanentRole of Key Account and Specification Support:
Act as the primary contact for internal account managers and their clients regarding project-related enquiries
Monitor stock levels and update estimated delivery times for ongoing project orders
Coordinate with multiple business units to ensure accurate quoting, ordering, allocation, and shipping of products
Communicate with internal teams including customer service, administration, supply chain, and procurement to manage stock allocation and delivery timelines
Collaborate with specialist teams to oversee the preparation and dispatch of customised or non-standard products in line with project schedules
Work with commercial teams to confirm special pricing for tailored items or projects, ensuring accurate records on internal systems
Generate quotations using Excel, Sage, or internal systems across multiple brands
Track the progress of quotations and document outcomes
Analyse quote-to-order conversion rates and prepare reports for internal sales stakeholders
