Bangor University School of History, Law and Social Sciences Research Project Support Officer (Project Support - Schools and Teachers role) 40% FTE (Ref: BU03883) Grade 6: £30,805 - £37,174 p.a. pro rata Applications are invited for the above temporary part‑time post working in the School of History, Law and Social Sciences with the National Centre of Religious Education for Wales.
Duties will include providing essential organisational and research support for the project, with a particular focus on coordinating activities, developing teaching resources, and maintaining clear communication with participating teachers and stakeholders.
The role ensures that the project operates smoothly and achieves its objectives of improving non‑specialist teacher confidence and quality in GCSE RS delivery.
Candidates should be educated to A Level standard (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area (Philosophy, Ethics, Religion and/or Theology) and have previous experience in coordinating pedagogical professional learning opportunities and developing teaching resources.
The successful applicant will be expected to commence as soon as reasonably possible and the post is available until 31/07/2026. The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
This role will be located on campus at Bangor.
