ERM, the world's largest pure play sustainability consultancy, is looking for a talented Stakeholder Manager in Capital Project Delivery. You’d sit at our Managing Consultant career level, which is between Senior and Principal Consultant. Hybrid working is available from any of our 16 UK offices, with the best connection possible if based in Manchester, Bristol, or London.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage stakeholder engagement programmes on DCO infrastructure projects, including scope and budget.
2. Assist in managing Impact Assessments (Environmental, Community, Socio-Economic, Health).
3. Collaborate with Project Managers, EIA managers, and Planners to ensure alignment with consenting requirements.
4. Lead stakeholder engagement with clients and advise on consultation activities.
5. Produce reports and materials for engagement and consultation, such as plans and summary reports.
6. Engage with stakeholders across local authorities, government, and statutory bodies.
7. Support business development through proposals, client presentations, and marketing initiatives.
Essential Skills:
* Degree in Environmental, EIA, Planning, Sustainability, or ESG-related disciplines.
* Experience with UK Infrastructure Projects and Impact Assessments.
* Knowledge of UK planning regimes, including TCPA and DCO experience.
* Experience working in a consultancy setting.
* Strong project management skills, including scope and budget management.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Proficiency in report writing and presentation.
* Research, analytical, interpersonal skills, with attention to detail.
