As a Store Manager, you'll lead your team in delivering WHSmith's handy range of travel essentials and exceptional service as we transform the UK's rest stop experience.

Responsibilities
* Ensure the WHSmith unit achieves, as a minimum, the financial targets agreed, including budget and P&L.
* Support and develop your team, ensuring each colleague feels valued, supported, and able to grow personally and professionally.
* Adhere to and deliver brand standards.
* Drive consistent high‑quality customer service and sales.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven track record managing and leading teams in a high‑volume retail, catering, or hospitality environment.
* Experience working to and delivering against budgets, P&L, labour costs and ratios, and cost‑saving initiatives.
* Ability to build strong and positive relationships with stakeholders.
* Experience motivating and increasing team performance through mentoring, training, and succession planning.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure in a high‑pressure environment.
* Current assistant general manager, deputy manager, restaurant manager, general manager, catering manager, or store manager who is aspiring to take their career to the next level.
