Available Positions:
* 2 x Full-Time Teaching Assistant roles
* 1 x Part-Time Teaching Assistant role
Contract: 1-year fixed term
Working Pattern: Term-time only
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Newport, South Wales
Salary: £24,790 – £25,183 a year (FTE)
Responsibilities:
* Support students one-to-one and in small groups, including pupils with additional learning needs
* Help manage classroom behaviour and engagement
* Promote student confidence and independence
* Assist with learning activities, planning, and school events
* Supervise pupils during non-lesson times and accompany on school trips
What We're Looking For:
* 5 GCSEs (A–C) including English and Maths (or equivalent)
* Good communication skills and a calm, supportive approach
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Reliability, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility
* Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
