Reed Recruitment is working in partnership with a well‑established and growing food manufacturing business based in the Craigavon area. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking two Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their engineering team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers who are confident working across both mechanical and electrical disciplines within a fast‑paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production machinery
* Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime
* Maintain and support a range of automated and semi‑automated equipment
* Work closely with production teams to ensure maximum machine efficiency
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and food hygiene standards
* Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
Qualifications
* Recognised mechanical and electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
* Proven experience as a multi‑skilled engineer in a manufacturing environment
* Solid mechanical maintenance experience (conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics)
* Experience with PPM systems and breakdown maintenance
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
* Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG
* Awareness of GMP, HACCP, and hygiene standards
* Experience with packaging machinery or automated production lines
