2nd Line IT Support Technician - Oxford
Salary - £30,000 - £32,000
We're looking for a 2nd Line IT Support Technician to join a growing organisation with around 1,400 users, working across cutting-edge hardware, software, and infrastructure technologies.
Based in Woodstock, you'll be supporting both onsite and remote users, combining day-to-day end-user support with more technical, hands-on troubleshooting. If you're keen to step into a more technical environment and grow your career, this is an excellent opportunity.
What you'll be doing
* Respond to incidents and service requests logged in a modern ITSM system, resolving tickets in line with SLAs.
* Troubleshoot desktop, telephony, network, and printing issues, and investigate software problems.
* Ensure devices remain compliant with Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001 standards.
* Support and install hardware, software, and mobile devices.
* Gain exposure to server administration and infrastructure technologies.
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a similar IT support role.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Strong technical knowledge of:
o Windows 10, MS Server 2019/2022, MS Office 365
o Active Directory/Entra ID & Group Policy
o IP Networking & telephony, DNS, DHCP
o Server, desktop, and network hardware
