As a band 5 Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, patient-focused care in urgent and emergency situations alongside our multidisciplinary team.
Interested applicants must have relevant and up to date acute nursing experience, while experience in Emergency Nursing is desirable, it is not essential.
Paediatric nurse applicants must have an interest in working with adults as this will be part of the role. Additional training needs can be discussed.

Role and Responsibilities:
1. Delivering direct patient care to both adults and paediatrics.
2. Assessing, planning and implementing nursing care for patients presenting with a range of conditions.
3. Working closely with senior nurses and doctors to manage clinical situations and contribute to decision-making.
4. Managing patient flow and ensuring efficient and timely care delivery in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
5. Contribute to the efficient running and ongoing review of our services.
6. Participate in developing innovative practices to enhance patient care.
7. Continuously develop your clinical skills and knowledge through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
