Description
Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Support the reconciliation of accounts, including bank and supplier statements.
Maintain accurate records for accounts payable and receivable processes.
Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the department.
Assist with VAT returns and other regulatory compliance requirements.
Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and systems.
Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance department as needed.
Participate in ad hoc projects and tasks to support the organisation's financial goals.Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
A strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheets.
Experience in month end and management accounts duties.
An eye for detail and a focus on accuracy in financial reporting.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Studying towards CIMA / ACCA or recently completed AAT Level 4.
Relevant qualifications or progress towards an accounting certification (study support available).
