About the Role
We are seeking experienced Mental Health Officers to work within specific localities, created to meet the ongoing demand for statutory mental health reports and related legislative duties. We need qualified and experienced staff interested in a challenging, active operational role that offers practical flexibility in working arrangements.
If successful, you will complete statutory reports and perform duties under the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000 and the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003. We offer flexible working hours, responsive to local demand. Your role will also involve assessment and planning responsibilities aligned with national and council policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications
* CQSW/DipSW, BA (Hons) in Social Work or equivalent
* Registration or eligibility for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
* Post Qualifying Mental Health Officer Award
Requirements
You must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to starting.
