We've got an exciting opportunity to join our brilliant team who is leading the way in digital planning and building control processes to provide an excellent service to our customers
We're responsible for the day-to-day processing of planning and building regulations applications for development across the borough which stretches from Bill Quay to Chopwell.

About the role….
You will be part of a friendly and committed team working as an Information Officer providing support to the Planning and Building Control Service. We are looking for a person who can provide relevant information in a range of different formats to our customers and effectively maintain accurate records.
You will be a key point of contact for our customers and process key technical information about development in Gateshead using a range of IT solutions.
