Salary: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, term time only

We're looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Stretford. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential-both academically and personally.
🔹 The Role:
Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs.
Support the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Help students develop social and emotional skills through structured activities and mentoring.
Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies.
Collaborate with the SENCO, pastoral team, and parents to support student progress.
🔹 You Will Need:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or similar needs (school-based or youth work experience desirable).
A calm, nurturing, and patient approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
(Desirable) A relevant qualification such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Psychology, or Education-related degree.
