Our client, a large international law firm, is seeking a senior lawyer to join a high‑performing legal innovation team within its Finance & Projects division. The firm is recognised as one of the UK’s leading legal brands and is ranked among the top 100 global firms by turnover.
You will work on complex, high‑value matters for major clients, helping to design and implement tech‑enabled solutions across areas such as banking, funds, pensions, financial regulation, and large‑scale project finance. This role is ideal for a lawyer who wants to combine technical excellence with modern delivery methods and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver technology‑led legal solutions for major clients.
2. Identify opportunities to improve legal processes using modern platforms, data insights, and innovative tools.
3. Lead and contribute to complex project delivery within multidisciplinary teams.
4. Support the pitching and scoping of new client opportunities.
5. Collaborate with colleagues across international offices and varied legal sectors.
6. Build strong client relationships and communicate effectively across specialisms.
7. Contribute to the continued evolution of modern, efficient legal delivery approaches.
You will be a qualified lawyer (England & Wales, Scotland or equivalent) with 5–8 years’ PQE and a strong blend of technical capability, commercial awareness, and problem‑solving ability. You communicate confidently, work well with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and take a proactive lead on key projects. You are curious about legal tech and open to new ways of working, with sector experience a bonus rather than a requirement.
