Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00pm - 12:30am
Pay Range: Starting pay is based on experience between $22.75 - $26.00 per hour.

Job Overview
The CNC Machine Operator is an experienced machine operator who is disciplined, creative and an excellent problem solver who will thrive in our lean manufacturing environment. A successful candidate is a reliable individual who is able to read blueprints and hold tight tolerances with a strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
* Follow Standard Work: machine setup, running parts, and preventive maintenance (PM).
* Inspect, deburr, and perform manual operations and/or operate other equipment, including the selection and presetting of tools for the next scheduled job.
* Update and maintain all visual controls; create and/or support countermeasures; maintain a clean and safe environment.
* Participate in SMED, Kaizen events, and 5 Whys problem-solving exercises.
* Resolve and/or report equipment abnormalities.
* Follow company safety procedures and standards to ensure individual and collective safety, and report unsafe practices.
Requirements
* At least 3+ years of CNC maintenance mechanic experience.
* At least 3+ years navigating CNC controls including OSP, Fanuc, Haas.
* At least 3+ years troubleshooting/repairing and training others on turret alignment, spindle/motor replacements, and other machine components rebuilds.
* At least 3+ years repairing and installing various voltages as needed for CNC equipment.
* At least 3+ years designing and implementing new hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* At least 3+ years of experience identifying, developing and performing required daily/weekly/monthly/semi-annual and annual maintenance on all CNC equipment.
Preferences
* Proficiency in Fanuc robots is a plus.
* Proficiency in simple fabrication and welding applications.
Physical Demands
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
* Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
* Works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, cold, fumes, and chemicals.
Travel & Work Arrangements
This position will be fully site-based at our facility in Alsip, IL.

New employees are probationary for the first 60 working days. After probation, the employee will join the union with an initiation fee and monthly dues.
