Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Designer/Salesperson to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise and detailed designs using various CAD software tools as well as assisting with sales of commercial catering equipment. Experience/knowledge of Commercial Catering Equipment is not essential as full training can be given. This role requires the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, sales team & clients to bring projects to fruition. The successful candidate will have a passion for design and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

SCCE offers a range of services for commercial kitchens, including maintenance, installation & repair, supplying new & refurbished catering equipment & designing custom kitchen solutions.
Duties
* Develop detailed CAD drawings and schematics for various catering equipment projects.
* Utilise software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Xero.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure designs meet specifications and project requirements.
* Visit customer sites to discuss requirements and prepare layout drawings & detailed M&E drawings.
* Review and modify existing drawings based on feedback from team members or clients.
* Maintain organised records of all design files and documentation.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology.
* Basic office administration and sales (training will be provided)
Skills
* Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Xero. (AutoCAD essential)
* Ability to create detailed schematics and technical drawings.
* Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in design work.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Basic understanding of Mechanical & Electrical Services would be an advantage but not essential as full training can be given.
* Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

This is a predominately office based position with requirement for visiting customers on site as and when required. Hours of work 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
