Equans is looking for a Mobile Plumber to join our team in Birmingham. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, based on a two-week rotating shift pattern of 6am - 2pm & 10am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. There is also an on-call rota. On offer is a salary of up to £35, per annum, dependent upon skills and experience, a company vehicle and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
1. Carry out planned preventable maintenance (PPM) on plumbing, and all water systems; plant and equipment in accordance with the PPM programme
2. Respond in a timely manner to breakdown requests
3. Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment, buildings and fittings
4. Assist with installation works involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works
5. Work in accordance with Work Instructions, Safe Working Practices and Method Statements ensuring relevant paperwork is completed in an accurate timely manner
6. Safely operate all types of access equipment, hand and power tools in accordance with health & safety and manufacturers guidelines
7. Carry out on call duties as part of a rota

Who are you?
19. Recognised apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline
20. NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating
21. Legionella awareness
22. Valid driving licence
23. School/commercial experience is beneficial
24. Effective communication skills as you will be working in operational sites, where your awareness will be tested
25. Prepared to work out of hours as necessary
This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check therefore ability to pass is essential.
