Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements: We require someone with experience carrying out technical design work for secure government systems deployed to the cloud. We require experience working on threat assessments using industry-approved methodologies, such as STRIDE. We require experience carrying out security work on DevSecOps and Kubernetes environments. We require high standards in written reports and design documentation. We require experience supporting development using a secure-by-design methodology. We require hands-on security engineering experience within Azure and M365 environments. We require knowledge of MOD policies, including JSP 440, 453/604, and 892. We require knowledge and experience of Agile and CI/CD principles and how they apply in secure environments. Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be UK sole nationals and hold current SC clearance. Responsibilities: We carry out secure delivery of internal and MOD projects. We support technical agile teams in delivering Kubernetes environments for proof of concepts and internal infrastructure. We work with teams across the business, including Software Engineering, DevSecOps Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, and Cyber Security. We develop security cyber architectures for systems. We manage security risks for projects. We produce evidence to meet MOD regulations. We design options and solutions to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities. We assess the security implications of bringing cutting-edge technology to government.
