We are now entering a key stage of service improvement and turnaround following recent regulatory challenges, and we are looking for a skilled leader to drive this forward.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager with proven turnaround and compliance experience. This is a high-profile role requiring resilience, strategic oversight, and a hands-on approach. You will lead the service through a period of change, working closely with Suffolk County Council, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and our internal senior management team to restore and sustain compliance and excellence in care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strong leadership, motivating and supporting staff during a turnaround period.
* Lead on all aspects of CQC compliance and regulatory governance, ensuring safe and high-quality care.
* Build effective working relationships with Suffolk County Council commissioning teams and CQC inspectors.
* Deliver and evidence rapid improvements following enforcement or inspection actions.
* Oversee staffing, training, and resource allocation to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
* Embed robust systems for monitoring quality, safety, and performance.
* Maintain clear and transparent communication with residents, families, staff, and external professionals.
About You
* Experienced Registered Manager with a strong background in care home leadership.
* Demonstrable turnaround experience in services requiring rapid improvement.
* In-depth knowledge of CQC inspection frameworks and Suffolk County Council processes.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and drive sustained improvement in challenging circumstances.
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
