Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Chef to join our team at Marne Barracks, Catterick DL10 7NP. You will be responsible for managing food production and minimizing wastage, supporting new team members in their training, and adhering to our standards for all kitchen tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Cooking and preparing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services with minimal wastage.
2. Providing fine dining (silver service level) for functions and hospitality events.
3. Collaborating with a team of chefs and mentoring new team members on procedures and standards.
4. Following recipes to prepare, cook, and serve various meals.
5. Assisting with deliveries, stock checks, placing food orders, and maintaining kitchen records.
6. Monitoring and recording temperatures of refrigeration and hot cabinets, and completing daily paperwork for due diligence.
7. Participating in daily and weekly kitchen cleaning routines.
Candidate Requirements:
* UK residency for the past 3 years and legal right to work in the UK, with the ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks.
* Relevant culinary qualification (e.g., 706/1, 706/2, or equivalent).
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Confident cooking skills.
* Flexibility and innovative mindset.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position paying £12.54 per hour for 35 hours per week, with shifts between 06:00 and 19:00, scheduled over 5 days out of 7, including weekends. Evenings are free, which is rare in hospitality.
