Temporary SEN Support Staff Needed – Thirsk
Do you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential?
We’re looking for caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Thirsk on a temporary basis.
In this rewarding role, you’ll work alongside teachers and SEN specialists to provide one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils to engage in learning and build confidence both academically and socially. Every day offers the chance to make a genuine difference in a child’s life.
What We’re Looking For:
1. A compassionate, patient and understanding approach
2. Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs (in school, care or voluntary settings)
3. A strong interest in child development and inclusive education
4. A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Hours:
Flexible, Monday to Friday during school hours (term time only)

Thirsk
