Our client is a highly regarded mid-sized law firm based in Hertfordshire, currently undergoing a period of growth and expansion. They are seeking a Legal secretary / Paralegal to join their growing team and contribute to a progressive practice that places strong value on its staff.
As a Legal Secretary, you will work alongside a supportive and friendly team of solicitors, partners, and fellow support staff within the residential property department.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting a dynamic solicitor in all aspects of residential conveyancing
• Filing stamp duty returns at HMRC
• Preparing Transfers and AP1/RX1/DS1s, removing notices and restrictions from title
• Preparing security documentation/solicitors certificates of advice, ILA etc
• Applications at the Land Registry – OS1/OS2s, bankruptcy and SIM searches
• Preparing invoices/completion statements and billing
• Ordering searches
• Sending out letters and emails to solicitors/lenders
• General secretarial support
Key Skills & Experience:
-2 years+ experience in residential conveyancing as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office
-Fast and accurate typing skills
-Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
