Mains Water Engineer
Location: Northumberland
Salary: £30,000 +
Hours of work: Monday to Friday (Occasional weekend with the option of overtime)

The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mains Water Engineer to work on-site across the UK, specialising in identifying and repairing leaks on external supply pipes. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, customer-focused solutions, using your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to investigate issues and recommend effective repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Locate and assess leaks on external water supply pipes (from the water main to the property).
Produce accurate reports and recommendations for repair.
Use CCTV survey equipment in line with WRC Defect Grading & Guidelines.
Operate CAT/GENIE and Sonar tracing tools to locate buried services and map drainage systems.
Carry out excavations and reinstatement work across various domestic surfaces (e.g., paving slabs, block paving).
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, ensuring a positive experience throughout.What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in external water supply pipe leak detection and repair.
Proven experience in moling
Familiarity with CCTV surveying equipment and tracing technology.
Strong understanding of domestic reinstatement techniques.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A proactive, solution-focused mindset with great attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Industry certifications/training are advantageous but not essential.
Confidence in using technology and digital reporting tools.
Candidates who are happy to attend overnight stays whenever necessary.What's on Offer:
